Update (Mon 9th Sep, 2024): Well, the original plan for Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland was that it was coming to Xbox in March (as mentioned in the original story below), but it ended up getting delayed until September 10th.

Original story (Mon 5th Feb, 2024): Anyone for a new Rugrats game?! That's exactly what we're getting in the form of Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland this March (exact date TBD), which takes the form of a NES-inspired platformer with multiple art styles to choose from.

In the game, you'll embark on an "adorable" adventure for up to two players spread across six standalone levels. The 8-bit art style is reminiscent of the NES and Game Boy eras, whereas the hand-drawn HD style looks more modern.

If you're excited for Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland, a free demo is available on PC as part of the Steam Next Fest, and then it'll be heading to a bunch of platforms including Xbox at some point in March. We're looking forward to this!

"Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland brings a baby-fresh take on retro gameplay. By mixing elements from the NES era with modern design sensibilities, today’s parents can introduce kids to a nostalgic franchise through an adorable co-op adventure for up to two players where babies must stick together to win. Toggle between 8-bit art for an authentic retro gameplay experience and HD art featuring hand-drawn animations for a trip straight back to the iconic Nickelodeon TV show."
