It feels like we haven't really heard much about Funko Fusion lately, but it's actually out today on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S! The first reviews have started going live today as well, although we only have a handful so far.
Unfortunately, those handful of reviews aren't as positive as we'd hoped they'd be. The game currently has a 64 rating on Metacritic based on just five PS5 reviews, and as far as we know there aren't any Xbox reviews in the wild yet.
Let's take a look at what some of these Funko Fusion reviews are saying:
Twinfinite (3.5/5)
"Your mileage with Funko Fusion hinges on your interest in the worlds it pastiches, but there’s enough charm here that even if you’re tangentially invested, you’ll have a good time."
Press Start Australia (6.5/10)
"Funko Fusion is a brilliant take on the tried-and-true LEGO formula, but for a slightly older audience. The combat is fun, the humour is on point and the selection of characters is impressive. But limited multiplayer options and rough technical shortcomings keep it from reaching it's true potential."
VGC (3/5)
"Funko Fusion is fun to play and its TT Games / Lego series ancestry is clear to see, but its frequent backtracking, its slightly off comedy and the way some franchises get less love than others mean that fun is often experienced with an asterisk. It's worth a play, as long as you don't mind collectathons and replaying levels."
CGM (6/10)
"Funko Fusion is ultimately boring, with an overly long mission structure, bland gameplay elements, and a story that comes across as pointless as to why this mixture of characters is interacting."
Not the best of starts, then! If you're curious to check it out though, you can pre-order Funko Fusion on the Xbox Store right now at a price of £54.99 / $59.99, with the game set to unlock in just a few hours' time, or grab a physical copy below.

It's still early days for these reviews, so let's hope the rest of them end up being a lot more positive!
