EA and Respawn Entertainment have finally dated the last-gen versions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and fans don't have long to wait to dive in. The Fallen Order sequel comes to Xbox One, and PS4, on September 17th, 2024.
Closer to when the current-gen versions launched back in 2023, Respawn announced their intentions of creating a last-gen version to meet "community demand". Well, Xbox One Star Wars fans, the day is finally coming next month!
Here's what to expect from your new adventure:
"This narratively driven, single-player title picks up 5 years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and follows Cal’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness. Pushed to the edges of the galaxy by the Empire, Cal will find himself surrounded by threats new and familiar. As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, Cal is driven to make a stand during the galaxy’s darkest times — but how far is he willing to go to protect himself, his crew, and the legacy of the Jedi Order?"
Interestingly, the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 versions themselves suffered from quite a few technical issues at launch last April, before Respawn worked to patch the game up for current-gen players. Hopefully, the time that's been spent working on the last-gen port means it's up to snuff right out of the gate.
There's not long to go until we find out anyway - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor hits Xbox One on September 17.
