Earlier this month, we finally got the official release date for the upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw remake, with the Xbox Series X and S versions announced for September 12th. At the time, Dragami Games was simply bringing the Xbox 360 cult classic to current-gen systems, but it's had a change of heart - with more platforms now announced.

Unveiled earlier today by designer Yoshimi Yasuda, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is now also coming to last-gen consoles! This means that the over-the-top slasher will eventually be available on three generations of Xbox: 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

As you can see in the above tweet, there'll be a slight delay in regards to the last-gen versions of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. The Xbox One release, alongside PS4, will arrive digitally in November 2024 rather than the aforementioned September release for Series X and S.

First unveiled back in 2022, Lollipop Chainsaw was one of the last games we'd ever have expected to be remade for modern systems. It's happening though, and fans playing on Xbox One and Series X|S will soon be able to get their hands on the remake.
