Microsoft typically keeps its cards close to its chest when revealing Xbox Game Pass titles - most additions are only announced a week or two before they're added to the library. Every now and then though, we get an unofficial tease, and reliable leaker 'eXtas1s' has today revealed a game we can expect to come to the service "soon".
According to the insider, who correctly revealed the addition of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons in May, Deck 13's Action RPG Atlas Fallen will be coming to the service shortly. They haven't attached a date to this teased addition, but the title is now expected to be revealed in one of Microsoft's upcoming Game Pass roundups.
Now, it goes without saying that this information shouldn't be taken as gospel until Microsoft officially reveals the addition - plans can change and that could easily be the case with Atlas Fallen. eXtas1s has been correct before though, so we have reason to believe them in this particular case.
Anyway, we should get another Xbox Game Pass roundup for late July next week, so we'll be on the look out for Atlas Fallen there - or potentially one of the August roundups that'll follow.

I'd play it, def try it in co-op
I mean it has "failed game coming to Game Pass" written all over it, and I'm all for it, it's a great way for a game to try and find an audience. It didn't seem like it was a bad game, just a 6 or 7/10 releasing amidst a lot of other better games. I'm sure some will have fun with it.
A free update that will add new content is coming in August so this leaker might be right. It's a great game that was unfortunately buried by other bigger releases.
I'd give it a go.
@UndyingInsurgent95 was waiting for your summoning, the local focus home expert.
How do you feel on playing this solo vs co-op? Big difference? Proper scaling in co-op? Shared loot?
What would you recommend?
I played all the way through the game. Totally a AA experience, but the combat screams AAA. It runs at a locked 60 fps, even on the Series S. This is one of those games that was released at a time when it was overlooked. I'd say a solid 7.5, but it's more fun than most of the recent AAA releases.
If your face isn't on a dartboard in the office of some marketing office, you aren't a real leaker. Seriously, they must be proper hated.
Hopefully it's true might give it a go maybe 🤷
@JustinSane I’m starting to think overlooked AA game with great combat might be exactly what I want from games especially on GP. I recently loved Evil West and Outriders. I love that they’re straight forward action without getting bogged down in AAA bloat.
It would be a great addition.
@RBRTMNZ I would go out on a limb and say the combat is one of my favorites in any game. Top 5 at least. Story is "meh" but it's a good time for 20 hours or so. Plus, there's that huge update in August. I also loved Evil West.
@Cherip-the-Ripper I haven't played any co-op personally but I do know that you share loot, progress through the story at the same time and is super seamless and smooth. Hope you end up liking it 👍
@JustinSane I don’t mind a meh story I can largely ignore. A good story is at the most a welcome plus rather than something I need. To quote Dr Robotnik, “The time for talking is over. It’s time to push buttons.”
@UndyingInsurgent95 oh no worries I'll def like it.
If you see an article pop up about this game charting or playerbase numbers shooting up like crazy ya know what's up fam 🫡
I'll try and pick it up with a friend, thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Ooh. Atlas Fallen is the type of game I might resub for.
@Cherip-the-Ripper Hope you're right about the spike in players lol. Focus wasn't pleased with the sales and I don't blame them... Anyway, have fun and enjoy ☺️
There are enough good games. I don’t need to play mediocre ones.
