Last month, Microsoft announced that Forza Horizon 4 would be delisted from digital storefronts this December - and all three editions of the game have an amazing discount right now as part of Xbox's big summer sale.
The Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate editions of Forza Horizon 4 are all 80% off right now - and the Ultimate Edition looks like the one to go for considering all of the extra content you get for hardly any more money.
Here are all the sale prices for Forza Horizon 4 on Xbox at the moment:
- Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition - £10.99 / $11.99
- Forza Horizon 4 Deluxe Edition - £13.99 / $15.99
- Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition - £16.99 / $19.99
Now, we must also stress that it's worth checking your console for any extra 'Just For You' discounts on top of these Forza Horizon 4 sale prices. Some of us here at the PX offices are seeing the Ultimate Edition for an absolutely absurd £8.50 here in the UK - that's a full 90% off the standard price!
That Ultimate Edition contains the base game, the car pass, and both of the game's Fortune Island and LEGO Speed Champions expansions. You're getting a ridiculous amount of content here for as low as £8.50 - especially considering the game will be delisted for good in December 2024.

I am not sure what to do at the moment…. I am eligible for a free Horizon 4 token as I have bought the season pass , car pass and some other DLC for the game pass edition. But I have not received my token yet even though almost everyone around me did. Xbox customer service told me that it can come somewhere in the coming weeks / months. I don’t want to loose access to the game if it leaves gamepass but I don’t want to buy it and ( would be very typical ) receive the token 1,5 minute AFTER i bought the game just to be sure…
@Sol76 yeah I'm the same I have everything all dlc etc but I haven't received anything either whilst other people have
Same for me have all DLC but no code. To be honest i'm not bothered either way, i'm not buying it and if i don't get a code then mhhm got all the achievements anyway.
I have the £8.50 just for you offer even though I already own the game and all the DLC. Seems like they are trying to get me to spend more money on it as an impulse buy.
Time for me to grab FH4.
@Sol76 They will have a final sale that will last until it gets discontinued, I’m gonna wait until almost the very last day to get my code but if I don’t I’m just gonna buy it.

As a newer XBox owner, I’m VERY pleasantly surprised at how dang good this game is.
@dskatter The Horizon series overall is terrific, probably my favorite MS original series. They are just great games to chill to.
@Tasuki I picked up the ultimate Horizon 5 this weekend as well, via a nice cheap game code. But 4 has been the one I’ve been playing via gamepass and now via ownership the last few days when I’m not playing FF14 on my PS5.
Kinda tempted to see if I can find disc copies of 1-3 now…
@Sol76 @Lucylu1983 @Aidax89 I think the official messaging said that you needed a fully paid GP subscription, I used the 3-year GP loophole so I think that's why I didn't get a code.
@Tasuki Couldn’t agree more, it’s easily my favourite Xbox franchise. I feel like it peaked at 3, but 4 and 5 are still absolutely amazing games.
@dskatter Shouldn't be to hard to find disc copies. Check used game stores, I was able to find a copy of FH2 for 6.99 a few years ago. The only thing you won't be able to get the downloaded stuff since the games were delisted.
@SoulChimera 3 is my favorite mainly cause that was the one that introduced me to the series, with 2 a close second, and even 1 is good. I only played a bit of 4 awhile ago on my tablet via stream so I don't have an opinion on that one yet. I have yet to play 5
What a great game! Even better than FH5 imo.
I like that it has very distinctive different weather. As a Canadian it's in my blood to drive on snow and ice.
Like the others, it feels like a car RPG or a caRPG lol. That being said, there's a finite amount of "quests" you can go on but it's so fun to collect cars and get high scores.
I've got the 90% discount offer, but I already have the Ultimate Add On pack so I'm hoping to get that free base game token people are talking about.
Given that its also being removed from Gamepass I decided to grab the 8.50 discount as FH4 is my favorite of the series and for that price and all the DLC it was worth it at least for me. Annoying that this delisting is happening but I guess they can only do so much with having to deal with car manufacturers.

I have a sub from day one recurring every month. No pre paid or any loopholes used.
This is discounted because it’s about to be delisted. So how much longer will the servers for it still be running for?
@S1ayeR74 A long time. Last year Horizon 1, 2 and F&F shut down after nearly a decade. Online for Horizon 3 and Motorsport 5+6+7 is "still active", albeit quite shoddy as of late.

@S1ayeR74 Even if they close down the servers the game will still be playable it's just user created content that will be unavailable.
@dskatter I was in my local Gamestop today and saw a used copy of 3 for 9.99.
