Well, another Xbox Games Showcase is in the books! Many Xbox fans believe that this year's Showcase was one of the best of all time, and we've definitely got an amazing couple of years ahead when it comes to first-party titles.
As we've highlighted numerous times here at Pure Xbox in the past, Xbox fan Klobrille regularly puts together some fantastic Xbox Studio roadmaps, and we've got another one following the conclusion of the Showcase earlier this week.
So, courtesy of Klobrille on Twitter, here's a look at everything Xbox is known to be working on right now:
There are a couple of mistakes in here that have since been pointed out - the biggest one being that Toys for Bob's new Xbox project isn't mentioned - but ultimately this gives us a great overview of what's to come. Gears, DOOM, Marvel's Blade, State of Decay 3, Indiana Jones, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6... the list just goes on and on!
The best news is that we don't have to wait long for some of these either - the latter half of 2024 is looking very stacked from a first-party perspective right now, and we're really excited for loads of games that are dropping later this year.
Again, many thanks to Klobrille for their roundup - the hype levels have increased again after seeing this!
What do you make of this latest Xbox Studios roadmap? Tell us down in the comments section below.

I'm excited about many games, more than I thought I would before the show. I don't mind if they are far away because there's a lot to play in the meantime. Actually, I'd prefer that they are polished at launch and not six months later.
If I had to choose three highlights now, they would be Perfect Dark, Gears of War E-Day and Doom The Dark Ages.
Regarding hardware, it's nice to see the refreshed models, but I need to know if a new controller or Elite controller is coming soon.
There was a lot in that showcase that I'm looking forward to and at the top of that list is Doom, Perfect Dark and Indiana Jones and I'll even give COD a go this year as I already have Gamepass
A little suprised only 3 titles have a 2025 date.
I see...8 games of interest to me.
2 of them are this year(Avowed and the Indiana Jones game) and the rest are 2025 and beyond.
This is cool, but I don't think he needs to stop including games going back to 2020. No need to pad it out anymore, better to look forward.
@abe_hikura True. But I suspect several of those 'upcoming' games will also launch in 2025.
EDIT: Also noticed it says last updated FEB 2024. Is Klobrille now privy to insider information, or did he forget to update this. EDIT 2. It was a mistake... maybe. lol
There's a LOT of games that have been released since 2020 despite all the chatter about a 'lack' of games and/or chatter about the time taken to get these games out.
Hellblade 2, Fable, SoD3, Everwild, Contraband, Perfect Dark and ES6 for example have been known to be in development for years, yet we are still waiting for most and Hellblade 2 only just released - a game they revealed alongside revealing the Series X.
Anyway, it just confirms that I will be keeping my Game Pass Ultimate Subscription going for the foreseeable future as the 'future', inc rest of 2024, is looking strong...
Probably safe to assume a call of duty will be in 2025 as well.
Where is hello kitty island adventure?? Nothing is impressive without this I'm not impressed 🤦😭
The three 2025 games are practically the best set we’ve gotten from Xbox in years.
Eight first party titles in 2024 is absolutely amazing! And those 2025 titles are going to be fantastic! Keep them coming!
Honestly the showcase got me excited about gaming, so much so I'm probably going to move over to Xbox for a year or so...
HOWEVER!
They really need to stop showing games without a release date, more so even a release year. There's a significant number of them games that have been excited but could be out in 3 years or more which shouldn't be the case. If I had my preference I wouldn't hear about a game until it's a year or less away, I really don't see the point in having 3/4/5 year build ups, inevitably what happens is the game 'seems' a letdown because of the long wait, they're actually causing themselves issues.
Anyways, time to find an Xbox lol
My mood towards current gen gaming has been in a massive slump recently with Switch winding down and PlayStation showing next to nothing exciting. My PS3 has been reconnected to the TV and I've been having a brilliant time with it.
The Xbox showcase however has massively cheered me up and it's great to see such an amazing lineup appearing this year and next. There's some huge titles that will be day one purchases for me.
Do we know that Ara and Towerborne are 2024? No mention of them in the showcase.
This is a nice image to showcase what the pipeline has been. While many of these games aren’t for me it really does refute the “xbox has no games” mindset.
Perfect Dark was easily the highlight of the show for me and I'm optimistic for Gears. Hellblade, Avowed and Indiana Jones this year is quite strong. That sort of consistency would be fantastic.
Flintlock is another missed from 2024, unless I'm missing it from the graphic.
I feel like there's not much buzz about it in general despite getting a surprisingly close release date. Maybe I'm alone in thinking it looked cool?
Or is it gamepass but not first party?
@Medic_alert it did appear at least from what I saw to have an objective compass marker on the top of the screen a ala FFVII Rebirth or 75% of the recent Assassin's Creed games etc. So I think it is open to an extent.
@Banjo- They are my 3 most wanted, too. Perfect Dark, Gears of War E-Day and Doom The Dark Ages. 😄
Lots of great games ahead.
Ok. This is what Xbox needed. Great job, Phil!
It’s been an incredibly entertaining few days on Push Square. Filled with tears of denial and fanboys reassuring themselves that they really had no interest in any of the games. lol
@Banjo-
I confused are there 2 Banjo?
Must agree on those three games as my top three., as well.
Have to chuck Fable in as well though.
Just so many now.
This next year and a half looks stacked. It never ceases to amaze me how fast things can change in this industry.
@OldGamer999 Yes, there are! 😁
@BANJO Cool, we really are soul mates. 😁
Gears of War: E-Day, DOOM: The Dark Ages and Perfect Dark all seem like they're going to be awesome, just sucks that they're likely not going to be out until mid-2025 at the earliest. Gears of War is probably 2026 and that's the one I'm most hyped about.
I dislike ‘roadmaps’. Especially when a dev releases a ‘DLC Roadmap’ of their game before it’s even released but that’s a slightly different matter.
Theres a handful of games I’m looking forward to on Xbox but overall they seem to be trouncing the competition with the sheer volume and variety of the games lined up. Will it sell Xbox consoles is yet to be seen.
Avowed is February 2025. Everything that truly interests me is sadly beyond 2025 like Gears and Perfect Dark. I feel like these games will come out at the end of the generation and will be truly properly optimized for the next Xbox.
