Asphalt 9: Legends has been a great addition to the free-to-play lineup on Xbox over the past few years, and we're pleased to say it's getting a major expansion in less than a month's time - in the form of Asphalt Legends Unite.

In this expansion (which will permanently replace Asphalt 9: Legends on the Xbox Store), players will be treated to an improved gameplay engine, a new co-op game mode, cross-play and 120FPS support, and many other new features.

You can check out a sample of this in the new Asphalt Legends Unite trailer above, which features a very familiar face in the form of Malcolm in the Middle's Frankie Muniz. He'll also be featured in a special series of in-game events.

Look out for Asphalt Legends Unite on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on July 17, 2024.

"Spark your competitive soul with Asphalt Legends Unite and feel the collective heartbeat of the road! Join forces with other players to speed through intense arcade races, perform jaw-dropping stunts, and charge towards victory while driving the finest hypercars!"
