The day has finally arrived! Digital Cybercherries' toy-soldier shooter Hypercharge Unboxed is officially out now on Xbox, and if you're interested in picking this one up, the team is offering a launch discount right now - but you'll have to be quick to take advantage of it.
For today only (and for pre-order players) you can get 10% off Hypercharge Unboxed from the Xbox Store. That brings the game down to a $26.99 / £22.49 price point - we'll drop a link to the Xbox Store listing down below so you can have a look for yourself and see what you think:
Hypercharge is playable across both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, so whichever modern Xbox console you're playing on, you can take advantage of this deal and get stuck in. For what it's worth, we absolutely think the game is worth this price tag; we scored it 8/10 in our full written review which went live yesterday.
Hypercharge's Xbox port has been a long time in the making - the developer began teasing its release almost two years ago. Anyway, it's here now, and we just thought we'd let you know about this special launch discount in case you were considering picking it up for the coming weekend!

Thanks for the heads-up on the discount. I picked it up and now I'm eyeing up the DLC too.
Guess the pre orders weren't very good if the game is already on sale. Not very surprising given the game is dead on PC & Switch. Why they thought porting it to Xbox would help without it being on gamepass is a mystery to me.
Now you've got Marvel Rivals on the horizon, a free to play shooter that will outshine Hypercharge Unboxed.
Hypecharge unboxed is available today! 51 player in-game lmao
@oopsiezz I guess you missed the part where pre-orderable games have been getting pre-order discounts recently.
You seem to be extremely salty about it not being on Gamepass. That's a you issue. Not every game has to be and that's fine. The model doesn't work for everyone and that's fine.
Marvel Rivals isn't even targeting the same demographic as this so it won't have any part. But it also cute you think another free to play shooter is going to have any staying power. Rivals is just gonna be another tax write off.
I can wait for a deeper sale, I played the game on Switch and it was alright. I'm sure it's better now though.
