After revealing a rough launch window right at the tail end of 2023, Horizon Chase 2 officially has an Xbox release date! You can go hands-on with this beautiful retro racing sequel on May 30th, 2024.

The upcoming old-school racer will be playable on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and it'll launch with a 20% discount on the platform for the first two weeks of release. Here's a little bit more about what to expect from Horizon Chase 2 when it lands on Xbox:

"An evolution of the award-winning racing franchise and developed by AQUIRIS, now Epic Games Brasil, Horizon Chase 2 proudly takes its arcade inspirations and turbocharges all the senses through immersive, high-speed gameplay that's easy to learn but hard to master. This is the golden age of arcade racing brought back in a modern and completely evolved experience."

The original game, Horizon Chase Turbo, is still well worth a play if you'd like to get familiar with the series before the sequel drops. That one was nice and easy to pick up and play, so we're hoping for more of the same from the team's upcoming sequel!
