Good heavens, it's been more than 18 months since we first learnt about Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game! What's decidedly less righteous than heaven is what you'll actually be getting up to in this new Xbox title, as you can see in the fresh video clip up above (warning: contains lots of Klown bashing).
Yep, developer Illfonic has just released an uncut gameplay clip from one of the game's newly-revealed levels; 'Downtown Crescent Cove'. If you've ever seen anything of Dead by Daylight you'll know what to expect from this video - plenty of skulking, stalking and eventual death in a spooky setting.
That's just our take though - here's how the developer describes its upcoming video game adaptation:
"Plan your own alien invasion and harvest humans as the iconic Killer Klowns, or gather a team of survivors to fight the extraterrestrial threat, in a game based on the ‘80s cult classic movie. Welcome to a new, craazzy take on the asymmetrical multiplayer horror experience!"
Truth be told this one is creeping up on us a little bit, with the team bringing their take on Killer Klowns to Xbox Series X|S on June 4th. However, you can actually access the game a full week early by simply pre-ordering any version of the title ahead of launch.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space appears solely multiplayer-focused, so we're inclined to say it's probably best to see if there's a good community going before parting with any hard-earned cash. Having said that, if you do have faith in these Killer Klowns, early access begins for pre-order players on May 28th.
