Two Games Are Confirmed For Xbox Game Pass In May 2024 So Far

Update: Well, it turns out there's actually two! Indie adventure Hauntii has sneaked into the lineup for May 2024 as well, and obviously we'll have more joining the list as we get closer to May. Stay tuned!

Original story: It's always around this time of the month that we take a look at what's ahead for Xbox Game Pass, but to be honest May is looking pretty quiet so far! Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is the only confirmed addition for the service as things stand (arriving on May 21st), although obviously we expect Microsoft to reveal more titles in the near future.

It's a major "day one" release for Game Pass of course, being that Hellblade 2 is a first-party title that seems to be shaping up as a true Unreal Engine 5 showcase. Xbox will be hoping for fantastic reviews and fan feedback when this game finally drops in a few weeks' time, and it'll surely attract plenty of new Game Pass subscribers on its own!

As for what else is on the way, we've got plenty of Game Pass titles still to come in April including Harold Halibut and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, and Microsoft may reveal a few more additions over the next few days.

And then looking further ahead, June marks the arrival of Still Wakes The Deep, which is a narrative horror game that seems to be shaping up very well. The Xbox Showcase will probably bring us more Xbox Game Pass surprises too.

So, Hellblade 2 is the only Xbox Game Pass title for May at the moment, but it won't stay that way for long. In the meantime, don't forget to check out this month's list of new additions, and then mark May 21st on your calendar!
