The Outlast Trials seemed to get off to a pretty good start on Xbox last month, and now the team has revealed its very first update since that much-anticipated console launch.

The game's 'Toxic Shock' event starts today, running through May 7th on all platforms - including Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The update adds two new Mk-Challenges, a new Weekly program, and several fixes and balancing changes - and you can check it all out in action via the trailer up above.

Justice, Sabotage, and Beyond

Try the new Mk-Challenges:

  • Tilt The Scales of Justice - A test of moral and strategic might against the backdrop of corruption. Can real evidence of false crimes outweigh the power of corrupting wealth? Load the scales of Lady Justice and observe.

  • Sabotage the Factory - A daring mission to halt the sinister operations of the Murkoff Corporation. Murkoff controls the means of production; use the emergency breaks to shut down the factory.
