Update [Fri 5th Apr, 2024 06:00 BST]:
After the Xbox store page for Hollow Knight: Silksong went live earlier this week, it's been discovered the game was also rated in South Korea in February 2024. This, along with the fact the title has now also been rated by the ESRB, means a release date could potentially be on the horizon.
Original story [Tue 2nd Apr, 2024 04:15 BST]:
After more than five years since its original announcement, Hollow Knight: Silksong finally has an official listing on the Xbox Store page. No, this isn't a joke (as confirmed by Xbox's product marketing manager Tao Sila), it's actually the real deal.
While Silksong already has pages on multiple other digital platforms, the Xbox one had not gone live until now. It's also notably received an E10+ ESRB rating (containing fantasy violence and mild blood) which suggests a release could be close. Other Xbox team members have also confirmed this update:
Keep in mind there's still no official release date for Silksong just yet, but when it does arrive on Xbox it will be a 'Day One' release on Microsoft's subscription service Game Pass.
Looking forward to Silksong? When do you think it will arrive? Let us know in the comments.

Great! Once its out maybe the nintendo directs wont be spammed down by silksong comments. Lol. Also, I hope the game is good for rhe sake of all the fans thats been waiting for years. A good catch for Gamepass!!
I mean the Switch store page for the game has been live for years...
Get ya 🤡 make up ready people 🤣😭
I hope this makes it to both Switch and Xbox soon, I prefer playing 2D platformers hand held.
At this point, I'll believe the game is real when I see the Xbox store say, "install now."
