We've seen some fantastic deals for EA's single-player shooter Immortals of Aveum since launch, and an amazing discount has cropped up again on Xbox.
As part of the Xbox 'Just For You' deals selection, we're seeing 'Immortals of Aveum Deluxe Edition' at 90% off right now - making the title just £8 / $8 on Xbox Series X|S. It's worth noting that this deal is exclusive for Game Pass Ultimate members, and it expires at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 5pm GMT tomorrow, March 12th.
You'll have to be quick if you want to snag this deal, then, and it's probably worth doing so if you even have a passing interest in Immortals of Aveum - a 90% discount is crazy for a triple-a title that only launched in August 2023! We're seeing some big 'Just For You' discounts across other EA titles and for Far Cry 6 too, so it's worth checking your deals selection to see what's in store for you.
As for how we felt about the game, well, we reckon it's a solid magic-based shooter that's definitely worth playing - especially on Xbox Series X where the console handles its Unreal Engine 5 tech a little better. Check out the full Pure Xbox review down below:
Are you going to buy this on Xbox before the deal expires? Let us know down in the comments!

Give it a shot, I managed to find it for a fiver in the supermarket and I had a decent time with it.
Don't buy for series s the resolution is garbage!
Sounds like something is hitting Game Pass soon...
@eire-shabba Was just going to comment this it's looks absolutely dreadful on Series S it also crashed the 3 times i tried to play it during a cutscene.
@FarmDog08 I would assume EA simply adds this to EA Access soon and the game automatically becomes available for GP users.
@Rangers420 Yeah I seen the article was going to buy it but just had a quick check up on the game says it goes as low as 480p which is game ruining similar to the last metro game on series s
I found this to be a suprisingly fun game. Part of the fun is exploring for treasure, so I wouldn’t use the deluxe edition power ups.
@Rangers420 @eire-shabba yeah, I was looking to try this out, but as XSS owner.. rather not.
It reaches very low res and applies FSR, which with such little information to work with looks way worse than if it was just off (similar to Atlas Fallen, which also produces a grainy mess). Shame, cause it's for sure worth that price on XSX.
If it was PC crossbuy I'd do it, instead I keep waiting for it to hit Gamepass/Access/Play/etc
I'd only buy it for PC. No longer buying consoles since I downgraded my living space size and literally don't have room for them.
Not showing for me. Oh well.
@Rangers420 @eire-shabba Yep. Series S been nothing but headache for gamers. Knew it was going to. Better spend the extra couple dollars and get Series X so have a functioning and superior product.
If the Xbox switch console is not a rumor. Every Series S owner were the gullable, beta tester for it.
@GuyinPA75 It's not really that much of a headache for me really knew what it was before hand so I don't regret at all I'll get a series X eventually but try to spoil the family before spending that much on just myself for a series X but I love my series s glad they chose to make it otherwise there probably wouldnt be as many Xbox gamers out there now considering most Xbox series consoles sold have been the s not series x
In other words, it'll be on EA Play next month
@GuyinPA75 I must be pretty gullible, as I have apparently been fooling myself into thinking I had a nice little affordable entry point into "next gen" which I have been enjoying across dozens of games with no issues for the past few years. But I guess I was wrong
Too bad this particular game has performance issues, though, I had wanted to give it a try
I was gunna get this but I recently just got the Stalker trilogy so gunna wait this one out for it coming to Game Pass
I’ve had an eye on this for a while but its inclusion on Game Pass feels imminent so not sure it’s worth buying.
I went and looked and Immortals of Aveum is NOT $8. The only special for me was $8 off the $70 full price...A savings of $8, still have to pay $62 not $8.... I guess my JUST FOR YOU just doesn't give me the same deals. Who knows but yeah big difference.
@CaptnTedo The game itself is still full price, it's the deluxe edition only which is down to $8 oddly
Ya I'm only seeing $8/£8 off the DX edition as well. Thinking this may be a bit of a mistaken numbers thing. Has anyone seen this offer at all?
@RentedPanda As this gen moves along and even more and more games contine to have issues you will see just how your passive aggressive comment will not be as snarky as hoped or sounded to be at the time.
Unless you like playing the 8 bit game boy quality level indie games that come out. Game pass is loaded with those. Series S can handle them without issues.
@Jsb5150 I've seen it, not buying, but it's there for me!
at that price i buyed it even if it perform at 340p on series s 10$ 😂😅🤦♂️
Not showing for me here in Canada either the regular version or deluxe, both are just $8 off
@GuyinPA75 Love my series S - checked my True Achievement stats and played 31 days so far, 1271 achievements and 473 games played
Not any instance of any issues…
I have a terrible plasma TV with some burn in. If I see the Just for you I will get it and let you know how it runs on my setup…
@GuyinPA75 snark was intended, but I was trying for overt, rather than passive aggressive I hear you, and there may be some games with issues in the future, but I don't see it
much so far, including, for example starfield, dead island 2, and revenant 2. But I am definitely not a graphical fidelity person, you are right. I'm happy with indie games with simple graphic style (solar ash, good recent example), although I am not into 8 bit, ironically, so I guess I have my limits.

I'd like to give this one a try, so I might get it, but there's so much to play that I'm not sure, but it sounds like a good option for that price and it's nice to see new IP being released even if not always realised to its max potential.
Bought it for 8 quid, the start level isn't super pretty but I appreciate the speed everything moves at - it feels really responsive.
Does seem much prettier once out of the start, and story seems decent enough - feel bad for the studio it didn't do well but it's got high production values, UE5 feels good on the Series X and not seen any performance issues
@RentedPanda Dead Island 2 is amazing and million times better than first "2" games of the series. I absolutely despised them with a passion.
Will say one few indie games that I surprisingly found enjoyable (you may too) is that Brotato game. Insanely stupid but insanely fun. Really need pause and think about what random build going to run after each round.
@GuyinPA75 I started the first DI, but never made it far. Enjoying my time with 2.
I'll have to check out Brotato. I saw it joining gamepass, but it wasn't on my short list to try. I just played through Return to Grace. It was entertaining for the short playthrough but more walking sim or visual novel, not much game play to it
