The Fallout hype is growing ahead of Amazon Prime's upcoming TV adaptation — which lands on April 11th by the way — and today we have a couple of fresh goodies to gawk over relating to the famous Bethesda franchise.
First off, up above we have a brand-new trailer for that very TV show, which we absolutely recommend checking out if you're a big Fallout fan. Secondly, the team has just added a new dynamic background on Xbox Series X|S; to celebrate the imminent arrival of Fallout's first season on Amazon Prime.

This is a fantastic new background option for Xbox users, and we're happy to see the feature grow and grow in recent months. We now have a couple of Fallout options there, we just need that Fallout 4 next-gen upgrade to drop now!
While that upgrade hasn't arrived just yet, we have had a Fallout-flavoured Xbox Design Lab drop this week. Check that out down below if you fancy treating yourself to a brand-new Fallout controller to get you in the Wasteland-exploring mood.
Excited for Fallout on Amazon Prime? Discuss this and the new Xbox background down below.

I cannot wait for the TV show. It looks so good!
I can see the current gen update being dropped soon....
Show looks good, but I don't subscribe to Prime. For me, it's never mind the show, let's get that next-gen upgrade.
Don't care about the show; care about the Next-Gen update and rumored Edition w/ all the Creation Club stuff for Fallout 4. Would rather replay that than finish Starfield at this point.
Very interested in the show. I like the whole premise of Fallout - just never got to the end of Fallout 3 or 4 due to game breaking bugs (did manage new vegas though). Hopefully they don't end the season with a glitch that stops the episode from finishing 😂
For me it does highlight why Starfield was such a let down for me. I wouldn't be interested in anything Starfield and I can't imagine they will make a sequel while Elder Scrolls and Fallout could happily go on and on.
@StonyKL Starfield could go on and on. Have new planets with new stories. Really isn't that difficult to imagine, especially when it has been fairly popular and got some really good player numbers.
I personally love Starfield and think it is a lot more engaging and fun than Fallout 4 is.
Ooh I like this one. At least it's dark so you can read the icons and text.
Pretty cool background. Still haven’t played a Fallout game but one of my good buddies has been recommending the games to me for years. Hopefully the Series X update for Fallout 4 comes out later this year, it would have been great to coincide with the show.
@Lightning720 It really is difficult to imagine though. "New planets with new stories"? There's already hundreds of planets with nothing that just exist, and only maybe a dozen planets and or moons with something that could very, VERY charitably be considered a town. 'Fallout 4 in space' had amazing potential... and somehow a slice of post-apocalypse Boston has more, well, EVERYTHING than Starfield except empty space. More NPCs, more named NPCs, more settlements, more weapons, more armors, more weapon and armor mods, more things to build for your outposts, more enemy types, more Character Build options...
It's fine if you liked it but I'm sorry, when the majority of the moding community gives up on trying to fix and make a Bethesda game more fun, it's objectively bad at that point.
Couldn't care less about the show but love the games
Can't wait for the show and same for the fallout 4 upgrade hopefully they surprise everyone and do some sort of new dlc for fallout 4 with the show coming out
Microsoft can’t afford a big budget movie now ? Just tv shows that get dragged out and more bland while Sony creates movies every year
