It sounds like the team behind Deliver Us The Moon and Deliver Us Mars is in deep trouble right now. Today, developer KeokeN Interactive has issued an urgent investment plea for five planned games, three of which are "Deliver Us" titles.
The studio has apparently pitched these games 180 times in the past two years, and has still yet to find a publisher who will take them on. Now, the hope is that the Deliver Us community will spread the word as much as possible.
The five planned games are as follows:
- We Are Human, a philosophical thriller that emphasizes mind-bending combat and traversal. PC & Console.
- Deliver Us Home, a solitary astronaut experience about finding home. PC & Console.
- Deliver Us The Moon™: Huygens, an unsettling survival experience taking place during the Blackout. PC & Console.
- Deliver Us VR, an immersive astronaut experience that brings you back to the moon. VR headsets.
- Expeditions, a coop Soulslike top-down shooter featuring a rich narrative on Pangaea Proxima. PC & Console.
In a press release today, KeokeN Interactive co-founders Koen and Paul Deetman called the move "a last resort" and stated that the team isn't willing to go down without a fight. Here's the full quote we've received:
"After pitching these 5 games over 200 times with 40+ publishers, it was time to call upon our greatest strength: our community and network. It’s our last resort. We will not go down without a fight, and what better way than to fight with everything we’ve created.
"Our entire team has poured their heart and dedication into these games. The amount and diversity of these games are not the result of a lack of focus or vision. It’s a testament to our adaptability and to how hard we’ve tried to make it work during continually shifting winds and exceptionally hard times in the industry. More than anything else, we love and want to continue making games."
Surely the studio will be able to find success with this method, as we've really enjoyed what's been served up with Deliver Us The Moon and Deliver Us Mars. These are great games that deserve more sequels in the future!

Nice if Xbox could publish 4 of them (leaving out the VR one); but I assume they were already pitched to.
are these walking sim games? maybe try making other types of games? i hear some folks are looking for some good old medal of honor style shooters.
Deliver us the Moon was a good game on Game Pass and looked really good. Was hoping Mars would end up on there, though I've heard it wasn't as good but still decent. I do think people are getting a little burnt out on walking sims though.
If you pitch something that gets passed on 180 times it’s probably safe to assume it’s not a great idea.
Really hope they get to do Deliver Us Home, to finish the trilogy.
Loved the story of The Moon and Mars, so would love a third game - really hope they get a publisher
More like Deliver Us Some Money, amirite?
Deliver us to the moon is on my backlog. It seems to be my kind of game. Hope this studio is able to be back on track
Why don't they just take these to Kickstarter?
Did the previous deliver us titles flop?
Deliver Us the Moon was really good. I hope they manage to make it through this… too many studios closing.
So...this begs the question, why are all the investors passing on these potential games?
Deliver us the moon is a great game and gorgeous as well.
focusing on one game is the best bet and i think that should be deliver us home
I wasn't really impressed by their game to be honest, so not that surprised.
I thoroughly enjoyed Deliver Us The Moon, so much so that I emailed the developer. I bought Deliver Us Mars to keep supporting them and enjoy their Sci Fi narrative adventures. They are however relatively niche games still and I think they'd do well to focus on 1-3 of those games while financial backing isn't certain. I haven't been sorry to see some devs fold - lots of live service or just copy and paste versions of existing IPs. If you aren't doing something relatively original then you've got to absolutely nail every aspect - like Helldivers 2.
It's a no from me aswell sorry
I enjoyed Deliver is the Moon, but not enough to buy their games at launch. Tough market right now with so many great games, especially on Game Pass
