Xbox Just Added Another 150+ Deals, Including A Special 'RPG Sale'

im no longer tempted to buy any digital games on xbox.

@rustyduck Same, why invest in an dying ecosystem. If the owner isn't even trying to grow it, protect it.

It was the same price in the most recent sales from last year.

@Sakko the rumours aren't saying it is a dying ecosystem, just some games will be ported to other consoles, with many of them still being exclusive to Xbox for a decent period of time.

Xbox has clearly been trying to expand their ecosystem to other devices, hence Game Pass and Cloud Gaming becoming available on many more devices.

The ecosystem is clearly not dying, but changing for the future (and to probably make more money).

Gaming has overtaken Windows in terms of revenue at Microsoft and is their 3rd largest business. It isn't dying.

Sometimes gamers can overreact way too much.

I still don't see Baldur's Gate 3. They should have definitely added it in their "RPG sale".

@Lightning720 I understand that, but you should know with the games releasing on PS (even if not all) even fewer people will buy an xbox, well fewer people equals less interest from devs, and fewer games.

Xbox is trying to speed run again as was the case with Xbox One.
This gamepass is great and all, but I doubt people on PS would buy it. I think most of the people who have gamepass and ps+ is because they have to, to play online. Also having two subs is a lot for a lot of people. Might as well wait for sales.

I might be overreacting, but even people overreacting Xbox does nothing, putting everyone on hold.

Cautiously optimistic that Xbox will be able to explain away the rumors, but I think for now I'm going to hold off on buying some games. There's no harm in waiting, and these games will go on sale again.

@Kaloudz Is this game a good entry into Final Fantasy? Always wanted to give FF a go at some point but where to start…..

I have been waiting patiently was well with my $25 reward waiting to cash it in… need it to be 25% before I bite though

No, unfortunately. lol.
It's still a good game but it's uhm... how to put it, it's sort of niche, and doesn't really feel like other FF games. It's still very much worth playing though.
Honestly the best introduction to FF on Xbox is either X/X-2 or IX or if you don't mind retro graphics and kind of dated gameplay and design, the original FF VII.
Stay far away from VIII. That's the worst way to get into FF.
