It hasn't exactly been a gentle start to the week in Xbox land, has it? The rumours and speculation about various first-party Xbox exclusives jumping to other platforms has caused all sorts of drama over the past couple of days.
In fact, the level of upset has been so severe that it's even led to some Xbox owners selling their consoles and influencers denouncing their support for the brand! Keep in mind nothing has been announced by Microsoft as of yet.
In response, The Verge's Tom Warren has stressed that just because Microsoft is considering bringing certain Xbox games over to PS5, it doesn't mean they'll all make the jump. The Verge was the outlet that mentioned about Indiana Jones, for example, but Warren advises it's "only a consideration and not a full and final thing".
Regardless of what happens next, emotions will probably continue to run wild on social media over the next few days, and we'd just suggest avoiding any knee-jerk reactions - let's wait and see what Team Xbox has to say!
Keep in mind that Xbox's Phil Spencer has already announced plans to talk about the "vision for the future of Xbox" at some point next week, so we don't have long to wait until more details about the situation are made public.
