Skull & Bones launches today in its standard edition form, and to coincide with the game's full release, Ubisoft has added a free trial option for the title across all platforms.

Yep, aspiring pirates can now go hands-on with eight hours of Skull & Bones gameplay on Xbox Series X and S. The free trial is now live on the Xbox Store page, alongside options to subscribe to Ubisoft+ or buy the game outright.

The team is certainly being generous with this one so far. A huge free beta preceded the game's early access launch last week - a beta that garnered some decent feedback all-told. Here's your chance to get another chunk of game time in without paying a penny!
