Believe it or not, eerie Xbox platformer Inside will be eight years old in 2024, and that very much has us thinking about developer Playdead's next project. They take their time with each game, clearly, and the team has again been teasing 'GAME 3' this week.
On its Twitter page, Playdead has posted a new screenshot from this mysterious GAME 3, which it currently describes as a "3rd-person science fiction adventure set in a remote corner of the universe". We'll drop the team's new image down below:
This studio oozes style and everything we've seen of its next title so far has absolutely lived up to the style of its past projects. Playdead made its name with Limbo back in 2010 before following up with Inside - two titles that are very much revered to this day!
Speaking of which, there were roughly six years between those releases, so hopefully at the eight-year mark we're not too far off from seeing GAME 3 in action. Inside was closely tied with Xbox back in 2016 when it showed up at Microsoft's E3 briefing that year, so you never know!
