Remember when free demos were all the rage? Back in the days of the original Xbox and Xbox 360, demos were an amazing way to generate hype for upcoming titles, and they were even given away with magazines for a long time!

Since the arrival of the Xbox One in 2013, we've seen far less free demos on Xbox, aside from the occasional Demo Fests that Xbox holds a couple of times per-year. However, 2024 actually seems to be off to a great start in the demo department, with free downloads for the likes of Tekken 8, Prince Of Persia, The Inquisitor and others.

Beyond these, if you want to look at the past 12 months, there have also been demos for the likes of Street Fighter 6, Resident Evil 4, Sea of Stars, Chants of Sennaar, Like a Dragon: Ishin, One Piece Odyssey and many others!

If you want to find the entire list of free demos on Xbox, you'll simply need to head to the Microsoft Store app on your Xbox console and then find the "Demos" section. Alternatively, the official Xbox website also provides the full selection.
