Took the day off from work just to play P3R all day!! Beat Persona 3 on PS2 a few times, definitely my top Persona game.
I'll fire it up I'm sure. But there's so much going on that I might not be able to get through it.
Played Persona 3 Portable and beat it a few months ago and I loved it, so this game is definitely gonna be a must play for me!
Great year to be a Sega fan
I'm going to play Persona 5 Tactica first because I played Persona 5 Royal last year. I also beat Persona 4 and Soul Hackers 2, all on Game Pass.
It's not a stretch to say that I bought an Xbox just so I could play persona on Gamepass. I guess their marketing worked on me.

Yep, the original Persona 3 started my obsession with the games many years ago back on the PS2. They are really long games but if you enjoy a mix of visual novel with very solid RPG gameplay I think you might enjoy it.
One of my favorites in the series i enjoyed FES on ps2 cant wait to dive into reload once it releases on gamepass
@ATaco Have you played Portable before? i actually like the female route i dig her battle theme
@Aigis
Yeah, back on the psp. I didn't really like the downgrade to picking things off a screen rather than being able to explore the town but I can understand the limitations at the time. I'm excited to revisit this place, looks like it'll feel almost like a brand new experience.
@LuciaThicc I understand the Yakuza games are like that to all Cutscenes and dialogue and little gameplay its not everyones cup of tea
@Kaloudz yeah that sounds about right, I remember my original playthrough of the game clocking in at around 80 hours or so. From the look of things it wouldn't surprise me if this remake is even longer.
@Kaloudz
Well, I guess it kind of depends what platforms you have available. If we're sticking solely to the Xbox then at this point I might skip out on the original version of persona 3, or portable for that matter, and start with Persona 4 Golden. Then play Persona 5 Royal if you liked golden and finish up with Persona 3 Reload. Each of these games are enhanced versions of the original with more content and better quality of life, so I don't really see a reason to go back and play the originals. Luckily all the games are essentially standalone experiences, besides very minor references or easter eggs to earlier games.
