We've got a new Halo announcement to share today! 343 Industries has teamed up with Mantic Games to deliver a new "Halo miniatures combat game", and it'll be launching later this year, going straight to retail in September 2024.
Details are limited right now, but we like what we're hearing about it so far!
"Halo fans can eagerly look forward to amazing Spartan miniatures that bring Halo multiplayer battles to life in an expertly crafted team combat game experience for tabletop newcomers and veterans alike."
You may know Mantic Games for the likes of Deadzone, Kings of War, various Hellboy games and others, and the CEO of the company, Ronnie Renton, had the following to say about the Halo game in a press release:
"We’re extremely excited to be partnering with 343 Industries on bringing Halo to tabletops everywhere. Having a firefight play out on the table while moving Spartans in and out of cover connects players to the action in a new and special way.
We have a thrilling and competitive game, from a passionate team of talented sculptors, artists, and designers who have been building an incredible Halo experience."
Today's announcement of the Halo tabletop game is really just a tease for now, with more details to be shared in March 2024 including a "first preview". Hopefully we'll get a much better idea of what this'll be like in two months' time!

I prefer to play the digital version of tabletop games. When can I expect the videogame adaption of this tabletop adaption of a videogame?
I hope the minis come painted, I do not have time for painting anymore
They'll make Halo anything as long as it's not a single player game
This sounds great. Wish I was in my teens and had the time for a tabletop game.
