Black Friday may be over for another year, but that doesn't mean the Xbox Series X deals are over! In fact, Walmart is offering some pretty crazy deals in the United States right now for the console - with or without Diablo 4.

Seems like the marketing machine is finally spinning things up!
This is the kind of stuff that will get consoles in homes and Game Pass subscriptions moving in the positive direction.
Slightly worried by this.. is MS planning on releasing a Pro console? They are literally handing them away here
Can't tell whether this is just normal holiday sales or a sign Microsoft is trying to get rid of stock fast to make room for the "adorably all digital" Xbox future that was leaked back in September being officially announced at the Game Awards. Hopefully it's the former.

Believe you me in the UK Sony have been handing away PS5 disc edition for that price nearly all of November. Including with a game like fifa and COD.
The price only went back up the other day with the new slim version released.

@Tharsman @Grumblevolcano I'm wondering if Wal Mart just has some excess Series X|S stock that they are trying to move.
Kind of a double-edged sword if that's the case. On one hand it means the consumer gets a great deal. On the other hand, it could mean that people haven't been buying Xbox fast enough and Wal Mart needs to make some room in the warehouses.
@Cikajovazmaj An image with a Series X Slim was leaked, but that would be digital-only. Nothing has been announced officially yet.

@NintendoByNature Honestly, as someone that owns both and still thinks the S is a great console to play games on, the upgrade is still worth it. The S is a great machine, many genres of games you simply lose a bit of visual fidelity, but for this price? Definitely worth it. Plus you can always sell or hand-down the Series S to get some of it back.
I don't predict stock on this to last through the day, though.
@Tharsman @GamingFan4Lyf its an end of life SKU. Meaning the diablo 4 bundle. So they have to clear them and get ready for whatever new SKU (bundle) MS ships. This is a super steal. I am trying to hold out and want for the new Digital Series X model next year for my second one. But this is a really strong deal. I will probably replace my Series X upstair’s if i really like the look and size of the new model. I wish it would come in white also with neon Green LED light. I saw a mockup of that online and it looked so good. Snag these up while they last friends. This is a super deal.
@HonestHick curious why wait until an all digital release? More internal storage? The amount of money saved on this would be enough to buy an expansion card or two (lets face it, that digital edition wont be under $500).
@Tharsman yeah i like some of the features of the new one. The energy savings and better Wi-Fi. Upstairs in my Media/Game room i have everything hardwired into fiber internet at 1000mbps, downstairs it would have to be wi-fi. So Wi-Fi 6e in the new console vs Wi-Fi 5 in the current is a big feature for me. Plus it net’s me another new controller that i will for sure replace most if not all my current ones. But man that $349 price is insanely tempting. I just went to Walmart site and my area has a few left. I’m so torn buddy haha
@Tharsman yep, for sure. All great points. I just always feel bad about buying myself something around the holidays when there's so many people I need to buy for. Even if I were to hand down the S to my kids, ya know. It's such a steal, I just don't know if I want to spend the money for having a dish drive. That's the main reason I'd even get it.
@Cikajovazmaj Yes but also no. The leaked roadmap showed they plan to release a 2TB Slim version of Series X in 2024. It’s not supposed to have any extra performance though, instead focusing on improved energy efficiency and WiFi 6E instead. So very similar to Sony’s PS5 Slim that just came out.
I just picked up 2 more of these. Well, I got the Diablo bundle at Target for $449 with the $75 gift card the other day. Then I heard about this deal and I know target price matches. So I went up there, did that and then as I was showing them the listing on the Walmart app, I added it to the cart so I could pick it up tomorrow. I decided to just go up there and see if they had them in stock. They had 4 of them on the shelf, so I got one and price matched thier app. So now I have 2 Diablo Series X bundles. That reminds me, on the box it says that Diablo 4 would be delivered during sign up. How do I get two copies of it if it's going to give me a digital version on my Microsoft account? Is it going to give me a code to give to someone else since it knows I already have one? They have to give it to me some way or another because I paid for it.
