Capcom hit another home run earlier this year with the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake, receiving an "Outstanding" 10/10 here at Pure Xbox in the process, so it's no surprise that more Resident Evil remakes are on the way.
This is according to Resident Evil 4 remake director Yasuhiro Anpo, who mentioned at a recent PlayStation event that the company is interested in doing more remakes. Here's a translation of what Anpo had to say (thanks, IGN):
"We’ve released three remakes so far and they have all been received very well. Since it allows a modern audience to play these games, it is something I am happy to do as someone that loves these older games, and we want to continue doing more. What game we will remake in the future is something that we would like to announce in the future, so please look forward to it."
Obviously Capcom is keeping things under wraps for now about what exactly will get the remake treatment, but we know that Code Veronica has been a popular request for a while, and there are even calls for Resident Evil 5 and 6.
Whatever the next one ends up being, we assume it'll be 2025 or later at this point, so it could be quite a wait. Nevertheless, it's fun to speculate in the meantime, so let us know what you think the next remake will be down below!

How about Onimusha and Dino Crisis remakes too.
@TheIronChimp dino crisis now that game deserves a remake defintly if its resident evil it has to be code veronica next 5 and 6 were terrible plus I bet 5 would be watered down to pander to the snowflakes how things are in the world now

@Dan1283 I absolutely loved dino crisis I like that they are doing this though they are games that deserve remakes imo
They should take a cue from Sony and just start remaking the remakes.
Resident Evil 4 Remake 4k Remaster Champion Edition.
Oh and spread it over 3 games like Square so you can charge $200 for it. They'll have to add hours of bloat, but they can manage.
I agree with most the comments please please remake Dino-Crisis Capcom.
Wherever possible I would hope they use Resident Evil 5 as a template for co-op gameplay — it's such a blast — but I'm not holding my breath on that one.
I think 5 is next but my vote would be for Code Veronica. It’s the most deserving of a remake. I wouldn’t mind a remake of 0 and the original before taking on 5.

Do the first one in the style of re2,3,4 etc. the remake of re1 is like 20 years old at this point. Make it in line with the others
