Yesterday, we brought news of how Stalker 2 is shaping up on Xbox Series X - with the team talking about the game's performance modes in a recent interview with outlet Gamersky. Well, during that very same chat, the team at GSC Game World outlined Stalker 2's approximate runtime.
The team was keen to stress that Stalker 2 is non-linear, and that runtimes will vary by player. However, they did say that we're looking at roughly 40 hours to complete "the main plot" - which sounds like a hefty runtime to us!
Interestingly, the developer also says that Stalker 2's main story has four different endings, and that playing the game's side content affects how the main story will ultimately play out. We're getting quite excited to go hands-on with this one!
Hopefully we don't have to wait to much longer to play Stalker 2. GSC's open world FPS is currently aiming for a Q1 2024 release after multiple setbacks in recent times. The good news is that it's still an Xbox Game Pass launch title, arriving day one on the service.
