Xbox recently dropped its last official Game Pass roundup of 2023, and this month's update included a small batch of leavers for mid-December. Four titles in total are leaving the Game Pass library on December 15th.
Chained Echoes is the big one here - the retro-inspired RPG got a great reception when it landed on Xbox Game Pass around this time last year, and we'll miss it when it leaves the library later this week!
Here's the full list of titles leaving Game Pass on December 15:

The titles in this list are all available with a 20% discount until the end of Friday, so you can pick them up at a slightly reduced rate if you're interested in owning them permanently once they leave Game Pass.

Currently playing Chained Echoes. Probably my favourite 2D JRPG since the SNES era. Should have it finished by the 15th but I might buy it anyway.
@themightyant Same here. I was trying to finish before it leaves but after 25 hours and not even finishing the Act I of III I'm going to buy it.
@Foxx_64740 Yeah it's longer than I thought. Not sure what HLTB is smoking with 33½ hours. Perhaps if you mainline the story and skip all side content. But I hit the final act yesterday after 45hrs and played quite a bit more, but I don't want to rush it, it's brilliant, story is excellent. Been playing quite a lot via Cloud too, it works really well with a game like this.
This is why I never start RPG's on Game Pass - Or even Assassin's Creed Odyssey lol
Never heard off theyse not interested anyway gamepass has been amazing this year other than the disappointment at the game awards its been great and far cry 6 is a good way to cap the year off 😊

I played chained echoes in January right after it came to GP. I can lose interest in JRPGs but finished and enjoyed this one start to finish
Chained Echoes is worth the money if anyone hasn't tried it. Excellent game.
Hear hear, on the Chained Echoes praise. It's one of my favorite RPG's I've ever played. I think back fondly on the time I spent playing this last year.
