Earlier this year, Xbox legend Major Nelson (also known by his real name Larry Hryb) said goodbye to Microsoft after 20 years. He mentioned at the time how he would take a step back to work out the next chapter of his career, and now in an update, he's revealed he's joined the board of Midwest Games.
Hryb will take on the role of an advisor to this publisher's communications team. Midwest Games works with smaller-sized developers and is currently assisting Gylee Games with Ra Ra Boom on Steam, a four-player co-op beat 'em up.
According to Forbes, Hryb will be joined by the "media and tech experts Alyssa Walles and Gina Joseph in core leadership roles" at Midwest Games, which also recently secured a $3 million investment from backers including Microsoft and the Green Bay Packers.
