Back on Monday, Xbox and Microsoft announced a new partnership with Inworld AI as part of plans to create a multi-platform AI toolset that will "assist and empower creators in dialogue, story & quest design".
As you can probably imagine, there have been some negative reactions to this. Over the past couple of days, we've seen some pretty heated takes on social media from those who are against the idea, as you can see in the examples below.
We've noticed quite a few arguments taking place in the comments sections of social media (what a surprise!) about this topic, with some also showing their support for the new partnership, but the majority seemingly not in favour of it.
Colt Eastwood on Twitter: "The tough reality is that technology and automation have been eliminating or easing production for jobs for decades. 5-8 year Game Development time could use all the help it can get, but AI driven content will always be led by creative people."
Ultimately, it seems Microsoft is dead set on moving forward with these AI plans, so we'll have to wait and see what comes of the partnership in the future. Do you think it's a positive move or a negative one? Tell us down below!
