During the Golden Joystick Awards earlier on, the indie Toronto studio Finish Line Games (Cel Damage HD, Skully) unveiled its new action-adventure RPG Robots at Midnight.
It's been announced for Xbox Series X|S consoles and will arrive alongside a PC release (including the Microsoft Store). Here's a bit about the story, courtesy of Gematsu:
"Robots at Midnight is an action RPG with intense combat, colossal monsters, and satirical robots set in a narrative-driven and expansive Cassette Futurist world. Built as a luxury destination now in ruins, the planet of Yob is now unforgiving. Overrun with dangerous inhabitants, Yob will be a challenge for any human to endure. Learn the secrets of your family, and this world, to uncover the corruption that lies within."
Players will test themselves with "intense" real-time combat, explore and uncover deep lore, and encounter robots of all shapes and sizes.

Looks really good, definitely gonna try it
I am certainly intrigued. These are the types of games that are good fits as third party exclusives since it’s in the realm of what Xbox is lacking.
Interesting. I really like the character animation. I hope it turns out well.
I will definitely get this. We need more action/adventures that are family friendly.
Looks pretty good. If it plays good, it could be a winner.
This reminds me of a sci-fi Kena Bridge of Spirits, I’ll check it out.
well xbox exclusive means no disc release so i will wait and see if it comes out later on ps5 like cuphead did.
Will it be on game pass? If not, no thx
