It's Thanksgiving in the US today and Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has taken a moment out of his busy schedule to thank everyone. This includes the Xbox team as well as the gaming community in general.
Phil mentions how these people in his life have helped make work "meaningful and fun" through both ups and downs, and he's incredibly grateful for the opportunity and ongoing support. Although not game-related, Phil also showed off his rescue pup Oogie, who he says has become a very special part of the family.
Some of the other Xbox team members got in on the holiday spirit, with the president of Xbox Sarah Bond sharing a Thanksgiving-inspired custom controller design. The Xbox account applied a giant turkey wallpaper to the Xbox's dashboard background, and even some other Xbox teams joined in on the fun:
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Good lord, I thought he was leaving for a second! We're grateful for you too, Phil!
Thank you Phil for listening to the community and putting them first, unlike other gaming companies.
@Thaliard Yeah, me too! Phew! I quickly scrolled further down the news posts to see if that was the case.
he has an odd way of being thankful of console owners.
Then he slapped Matt on the Booty and said our fans really are gullible.
All the gamers should be thanking you Phil! You have been making Xbox even greater place to play and it was basically perfect already! Phil is easily the nicest and sincere person in gaming industry and he always has the gamers first! Hopefully you will continue to pamper us gamers and keep our side in the coming years too, thank you so much Phil!
Happy thanksgiving to Phil&Co and to all that celebrates it.....but do spare a thought for the turkeys, people π.

Thank you Xbox players!
In return in 2023 Microsoft have;
Increased the price of game pass
Removed full time cloud storage for captures
Banned 3rd party controller devices
Banned emulators
Shut down the Xbox 360 store
Filled the dashboard with 15 rows of ads, added ad popups during gameplay, added boot up ads
Happy Thanksgiving though!
Sounds good but enough with the events and press and stop talking about games that isnβt going to release in the current year
I miss Xbox, as it was back in the 2000:s...
Thanks, but the best way to thank us is with games.
Thank you Phil, but where is games?
@dreadful but it was done for the greater good. 3rd party controller devices and emulators is a very bad things, and ads is a good things. Xbox players should accept that. Small and poor company Microsoft just need more money.
