Welcome to another Xbox Game Pass drop, folks! Today's arrival comes in the form of Cities: Skylines 2 from Paradox Interactive - although this is just the PC version for now as the console release was recently delayed.
Anyway, with the console version coming to Xbox Game Pass next year, here's a bit more about the title as it hits the PC Game Pass library later today:

Cities: Skylines 2 - PC (8am PT / 11pm ET / 4pm BST)
"Raise a city from the ground up and transform it into a thriving metropolis with the most realistic city builder ever. Push your creativity and problem-solving to build on a scale you've never experienced. With deep simulation and a living economy, this is world-building without limits."
Are you playing Cities: Skylines 2 this week, or are you waiting for the console release? Let us know down below.

I'm so excited. The PC version did get some ... constructive comments - hopefully the game designers have listened to those before console release
Racing home to start it up!
I must have put over a thousand hours into the first one, and despite the lukewarm reception this sequel has gotten so far, I’m confident it will eventually be just as good.
16 gb left to download!
I'm not one to play PC much (much prefer console gaming), but this type of game I feel can really benefit from mouse and Keyboard.
Given how demanding this game is for even beefy PC rigs, I fear there will be a lot of compromises to get it running OK on consoles. This is one game where you want more res so you can get lots of detail without zooming in, so I'm concerned as to how it will fare on console. Hope they do a good job!
Shouldn’t the title say PC Game Pass? As Microsoft rebranded it that way about two years ago to avoid confusion with the console service.
Its still not shown up on my console to install. Not installable from the store either. No release date listed. I dont know why its so hard to add a Date and Time for release per game.
I played it for about 2 hours last night. It does feel a little rough performance wise, but I like some of the improvements they made to the gameplay. It definitely simplifies things with roads just automatically having water, sewer, and electricity but I kind of miss building the separate grid to get those to the communities.
@JS1HUNDRED it got delayed till next year for console. It’s PC only currently.
Do we have to wait for console version to get controller support at PC? Haven't checked!
