Any that I would want on this list, I already own. It's a pass for me.
They couldn't have included their classic games like splinter cell, rayman 3 and Far Cry 2. Heck they should have done far cry 3's 360 version so that people had the choice of using the fps boost mode on it.
@LoquaciousB Same for me. Ubisoft don't release games often enough to justify the cost on a regular basis, but I'd do it if a game was released that I really wanted to play, but did not want to buy at retail costs, like 70 bucks or something.
I just need Ubisoft to make an infinite number of follow ups to their 360 games. Naruto Rise of a Ninja and Naruto The Broken Bond. Those are some of my favorite games of all time and I really want to them to make more. The Ultimate Ninja games are fine for fighting games, but I loved the open world and the use of jutsu on the old Ubisoft ones...
I can’t tell if this is three years too early or three too late. Wrong time for this now…..
Ubisoft games tend to take me a while to complete with work having a family and other things.
I could spend a couple of months trying to get through an assassins creed game might aswell buy it and have the game and then move onto the next when I’m ready as they massively decrease in price.
And I’m presuming ubi soft games won’t be coming to game pass now as they have there own subscription.
wanted to play Anno some more, not at that price! only 30 to own!
Looks good on paper, but it's just rehashed rubbish. There's maybe two or three games I'd play just because I've missed them being too busy with game pass.
Most people have already played any of the games they have any interest in
bunch of old games i've played.
Of course, this new sub is a hard sell. Ubi tend to low their prices pretty soon and pretty often, as everyone has already said.
And on Xbox, I feel, is even a harder sell. Not only for the "Game Pass factor" (which, I think, offers more value), but if you're into the MS Rewards Program, you can get many Ubi games on sale with points.
For instance, I recently bought Far Cry 6 (with all the DLC) with my earned points.
Like many have said, this maybe work as an "occasional" sub, for a month or two.
Anyway, I like Ubi games, so I hope this service improves in the future.
I can’t see anyone going for this.
I own most of what I want from these guys. No thanx
I was hoping they would include Rocksmith and roll that games subscription into the price of this
I'd rather buy the stuff I want, there's not enough here that's intriguing to justify 18 bucks a month.
It's a nice list but I own the ones I like the most. Why not make a new Rayman game. A 3D one?
@HarmanSmith Good points. It's also a harder sell on Xbox because on PC there are more games included and because Game Pass is really popular on Xbox and has some of the greatest Ubisoft games, at least temporarily. That might change, though.
I also think that Ubisoft is a great company and I like them. Immortals Fenyx Rising is awesome.
At $15 per month ($180 per year) , you can probably just buy every game you're interested in especially since Ubisoft's games are almost always on sale for 50% off or more.
Like all of the comments above I own most of it already, it's a nice list , but besides the board games and trials series i own 90% of it, so not worth that money to me
I've played most of their games, so this unfortunately isn't worth the monthly cost to me either.
I own most of them and it is a steep price imo. The only one I was interested in was Tintin because I missed it due to circumstances but it’s not there (licensing probably)
You’d think they’d at least kick it off the same day as a brand new release to tempt people in.
I was interested, but not at that price. Perhaps I'll subscribe for a couple of months now and then to play the games I want to play, but I'll stagger it with Gamepass, no point having both subscriptions active at the same time. My main worry is that now Ubisoft+ is on Xbox, does that mean we'll never see any more Ubi games coming to Gamepass, and also does it open the door for all the other developers to follow suit? Capcom+, SquareEnix+ etc. etc
For day-one games, it isn't a bad price. With both Mirage and The Crew Motorsport to play, I'm definitely getting it for a month or two.
Interesting...I may pick up a month to try the new ac
15 quid a month. That’s insane.
Will just wait for the games to reduce in price.
Hopefully ubisoft will do a trial or a £1 deal soon But not paying 15 quid
But what I really really wish was on the ubisoft plus service is assassin's creed 2
I have one yes one achievement that 'involves kicking a guard whilst using the flying machine' just one achievement left to get in that game but I'm not paying £8.99 just for one achievement I started the game on the 4th March 2011 and one day I will get the final achievement (hopefully)
Just wish it was on the ubisoft plus service
I can confirm there are zero Ubisoft titles installed on any system I own, never will again either. This company just hates their consumers.
I’m still on my Ubisoft+ boycott - waiting for them to join Gamepass… it feels like I’m achieving my goal…..
ive hardly liked hardly any ubisoft games so very little interest from me
With Ubisoft+ you get to play their newest games day one plus all the expansions from all games and ultimate and deluxe editions plus free in game items every new month and in the future when Microsoft gets the deal done you get cloud gaming for Activision/Blizzard/Ubisoft games
I am likely going to subscribe to this to play Mirage once i clear Starfield campaign (who knows when will that happen) but thanks to all the UBisoft sales over the years I basically own their entire back catalog, so until more games launch I don’t see much value in staying subscribed unless they start releasing games more regularly. Even releasing smaller games would give us a reason to stay subscribed, like perhaps more rayman 2D games.
Once I’m done with Mirage, Avatar, Prince of Persia and Star Wars Outlaws (assuming they release in a good schedule) I’ll likely unsubscribe.
GamePass is likely the only subscription service I keep running these days even if I’m not playing anything from the service.
@NarutosBiggestFan man, I had completely forgotten about those..they were so good!!
Too expensive
List has been updated with some new additions!
I took advantage of the 12 month offer and have already completed Prince of Persia.
Gave Skull & Bones a go.... not sure how I feel about that one tbh
Will get a (few) month(s) when Star Wars releases to play it early. Will probably buy it later.
So if I'm reading this right, I can join the day star wars outlaws comes out, complete it ina month or 2, cancel subscription after completion for the total cost of either £15 or £30?
@TheOldHunter4K Sign up 3 days before it comes out as you will get access to the Ultimate version which gives you early access (same for AC Shadows)
I was really tired when I read the article so I thought “60+” meant you have to 60 years old to play them.
@ZeD
Well that settles it then.
If it's a month by month subscription, with cancel at any time, that's what I'm going to do. 👍🏻
@TheOldHunter4K I signed up for the year (currently on offer), because there is at least 5 games I want to play and it worked out at about £9 a month.
The product isn't bad but the price is amazingly stupid. IDK what they were thinking with the price, and I think that'll kill this pretty fast. $18/mo, same as Game Pass, more than 25% the full price of any one game, per month just to access one single publisher's games. It's a colossal price hike. You'd have to buy the gold edition of 2 Ubisoft games a year at launch price for this to make any sense.
Save your money, they’ll sign you up on the internet, get it to link to your Xbox, then it’ll never work and refuse to refund you. Totally disgusting service
