These old Xbox finds just keep on coming! Earlier this month, YouTuber Modern Vintage Gamer discovered an unreleased original Xbox classic lying around on an old devkit hard drive, and now he's at it again with another retro find.
This time out, MVG has unearthed some sort of prototype for a 'Crash vs. Spyro' kart racer! The graphics are pretty rudimentary in this form, but his discovery does point towards this being worked on as a Crash vs. Spyro title in some fashion.
More details on the prototype are showcased in the video up above, including who was working on the game in the early 2000s. The demo here is very much playable as well, even if it didn't look very Crash or Spyro themed at this stage in its development!
We love discoveries like this though, and to be honest, we'd have been super into some kind of Crash vs. Spyro racer. Some of those old Crash Racing titles were fantastic, and given how good Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled turned out to be, we could definitely see something like this working in the modern era.
