Call Of Duty's Biggest Ever Xbox Sale Is Now Live, 40+ Deals Included

Meh, too old to spend dozens of hours improving my aiming skills... Single-player games, here I come!

Hoping most of this content will soon be on Gamepass. Shouldn’t be too much longer now.

Cool, I might go for some of the map packs then since I love to play bots. I’m not much up to doing online multiplayer these days.

I was hoping Modern Warfare 2 Remastered would be on sale. Might get MW3.

I'm gunna hold out for the ones I've missed coming to Game Pass as I have plenty in my backlog right now.

I'll wait for the latest 'few' to come to Game Pass to play the Campaigns as I lost interest in CoD MP around WW2 era. I have a couple (inc WW2 and Cold War - I think) that I own but never played - they came as part of a Bundle when buying Hardware.

I still have 'every' CoD and/or DLC pack from the 360 era onwards so I don't need to repurchase - although I don't know if I have 'every' DLC on Xbox versions or PS in some games but certainly through the 360 era, I predominantly bought DLC on Xbox.

In any case, I don't yet feel the need to purchase 'CoD' or DLC packs as I am not as into CoD as I was and enjoying Starfield and looking forward to some big games coming soon too that I'd rather be playing. Therefore I can wait until they are on GP OR crop up in another sale - their 25th anniversary perhaps... LOL

Also for the love of god why is all the DLC on offer for all the other games BUT not for "CoD MW3" and "Black Ops 2" DLC!

Everything else is on offer except those two 4 each DLC for both of those games.
If they discounted those then that would be an easy £40 for the creators.

@BioSkell CoD coming to game pass is purely speculation at this point. There’s been no official word. No doubt this site would cover it if there was.

It baffles me they still charge a fair amount for games like black ops 2 & beyond that are broken (hacked).

The backwards compatible prices are the same as every other sale, and those are the only ones I care about so RIP.

@Kaloudz -well said and me too, I haven’t bought an ABK game since the merger was announced.

Did everyone forget that COD will not be on GP until around 2025 when the marketing deal between Activision and Sony is finished?

Until then, I doubt any COD games will launch on Game Pass.

@PopularCorpse I doubt Sony had the foresight to put the 360 era and Xbox one era of call of dutys as a part of their exclusive deal considering activision was hell bent on never being on any subscription service. I don’t think Sony realistically saw the acquisition coming.

Ok, I'm willing to finally let myself discover this franchise, but only for single player content (I'm very not into multiplayer).

Which ones of those classics have the best campaigns ?

@PopularCorpse Does that include older CoDs? like Infinite Warfare? and wasn't the deal till 2024?
@Bobobiwan Depends who you ask. But for me, Essentials: MW 2019, MW2 2022, MW 1 - 2 (Originals), Black Ops 1 - 2 and Infinite Warfare as a bit of "honourable mention".
WWII and Advanced Warfare are "ok" but not very recommended. Ghosts is an "avoid" for me. I haven't played Vanguard, many didn't.

@Kaloudz Phil commented a while back that even if acquisition closes, CoDs or many other games won't be there day 1. Because I guess the deal needs to first close, so that they fully own ABK.
Then they can start working on bringing those to GP (not before).

I don't remember that happened with Bethesda, were the games there day one?

@Bobobiwan Call of Duty: World at War is and always will be my favourite CoD campaign. Followed closely by the original MW1 and 2.

A lot of these are really cheap second hand physically so maybe check prices on ebay, etc. before getting some of these.

@Techno92LFC That's pretty much me. I always have more fun playing with bots than online. That's why I always liked COD, because most other shooters don't even bother adding the option to play with bots.

@Gabrielmpf The only thing I wish they done was bring back being able to play against bots and level up or unlock things. You can do so on Black Ops (2010) but none beyond that.

@Techno92LFC Yeah, they could even have two separate level systems. One for bots and another for online. I would definitely buy the battle pass for that, but they don't want my money...
