Ahead of Payday 3's Xbox Game Pass launch next month, we've had the chance to dig into a closed beta for this upcoming co-op heist shooter. We're pretty excited for this one to arrive on Xbox Game Pass, so, we jumped at the chance to try it out early!
Up above, you can take a look at 10-minutes of 'No Rest For The Wicked' Bank Heist gameplay; spoiler alert - lots of co-op shooting shenanigans are involved!
If you don't have Payday 3 on your Game Pass radar right now, we can't really blame you. Starbreeze's upcoming sequel lands around two weeks after Starfield, and exactly two days after upcoming soulslike RPG Lies of P. It's all go next month on Game Pass!
Payday 3 will definitely offer up something a little different to those two titles though, so, it's well worth marking on your calendars. Payday 3 lands on Game Pass for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on September 21st.
Are you gonna try out Payday 3 on Xbox Game Pass? Let us know if this looks like your thing!

If anyone is also playing the Payday 3 closed Beta raise your hand!
I would play it, but it's closed. Lol.
Really hope there will be a good Field of View slider. That fish eye lens effect is GOD AWFUL!!!
If anything this game will be huge seller in NYC, San Francisco, etc, for the smash and grab missions to be excellent training exercises.
@HelloCraig lol
Yeah what is with that wacky FOV? I assume that's Pure Xbox's choice, but I saw it in the trailers too. I know some people play FPS's that way to get an advantage competitively, but damn son, that's horrible.
On a positive note, the shooting looks ultra satisfying. More Payday with better shooting? Yeah sign me up. Gonna miss Bain though
I wish it was third person
This looks fun, but at the same time I could see it being pretty hard/frustrating.
That thermite took soooo long haha. Then one of the teammates grabs a bag of thermite and doesn't even throw it in the pile of burning of thermite haha.
Im sure the guy we were watching was like screaming into the mic to throw it in haha.
This footage/gameplay was played so optimally that it really felt like a lead dev was playing.
I am definitely going to give this game a go when it releases.
I some how didn't get into the Beta before it filled up, and I am in the Alpha Skip Ahead tier... Oh well, the full release is right around the corner
