Ubisoft's fiscal report for the first quarter of the year is now public (thanks, Eurogamer); detailing general publisher performance during Q1 2023 alongside some hints at what's to come from the company as we move through the rest of the year and beyond.
Revenue is down 9% year-on-year, although the team seemingly expected an even worse drop off from 2022. What we're really interested in though is what's to come from Ubisoft, with the company naming 10 games in total that are due out this fiscal year (through March 2024).
Here are nine of those titles, all of which we already know about as lots are very close in the pipeline:
- Assassin's Creed Mirage
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
- Rainbow Six Mobile
- The Division Resurgence
- Just Dance 2024
- Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
- Skull & Bones
- The Crew Motorfest
- XDefiant
You'll notice that the tenth title is a mystery - a title Ubisoft has described as a "large game" within its portfolio. The team wasn't forthcoming with the answer during its fiscal report, which leads us to believe it may be unannounced at the time of writing. There are other announced and not-yet-dated Ubisoft releases like Star Wars: Outlaws missing from this selection, but that one seems likely to launch after this fiscal year given its omission from the lineup.
Either way, we'll be keeping our ears to the ground for any potential rumblings on what this large Ubisoft game could be. We're certainly intrigued by what mystery title could launch before April 2024!
