We've only recently found out that upcoming turn-based RPG Sea of Stars was heading to Xbox Game Pass on day one, and the team has just gone and announced that the title will also hit PlayStation Plus Extra on the very same day.
Yep, you don't see this very often! To be honest, you don't see many day one PS Plus additions at all, but to see one drop right alongside a Game Pass launch title is a rarity indeed. In fact, we can't recall this ever happening before - definitely not since Sony re-launched PS Plus last summer!
We're curious as to whether this move means that we may see more titles launch on both services simultaneously, so we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for this sort of thing happening again.
In the meantime, you can try the game out on either Xbox or PlayStation via the newly-released demo mentioned above, and we'll drop a link to the Xbox Store page for that down below. If you'd rather wait to play the full version on Xbox Game Pass, you can expect Sea of Stars to join the library on August 29th, right alongside its PS Plus launch!
