Annapurna Interactive has finally unveiled a release date for upcoming Game Pass title Maquette - a first-person puzzler that's been scheduled to hit Xbox consoles for months after being available on PlayStation since 2021.
Thankfully, we haven't got to wait much longer for Maquette's Xbox Game Pass launch. It's heading to the service next week, on July 19th to be exact, and up above is a brand-new Xbox trailer to mark its arrival!
Here's a bit more on what to expect from Maquette when it hits Game Pass, along with a selection of screenshots to tide you over until next week's Xbox launch:
"Maquette is a first-person recursive puzzle game that takes you into a world where every building, plant, and object are simultaneously tiny and staggeringly huge. Maquette makes it possible by twisting the world into itself recursively in an MC Escher-esque fashion.
In Maquette, you will explore the scales of everyday problems in a modern-day love story. Where sometimes the smallest of issues can become insurmountable obstacles."
Does Maquette look worth a try on Xbox Game Pass? Let us know what you think down below!

Played it on PS+. Isn’t very good.
I played it when it launched on PS+ back in ‘21. It was an interesting idea, though I eventually fell off.
The big selling point has to be the voice acting by real-life couple Bryce Dallas Howard and her husband, Seth Gable. Not only did it add a level of quality voicework, their natural chemistry really brought this love/breakup story to life.
I missed this when it was free on PS+ (couldn’t get hold of a PS5 at the time) so will definitely give it a go this time.
@Kaloudz No, I just found it poorly designed and didn’t stick with it long. Was glad I got to try it for “free”.
But with it on GamePass, won’t hurt to see if you like it better.
Nice, will give it a go, love these kind of puzzle games on GP
I would not recommend wasting your time on this one. The concept is cool, but the game is not good. It's not well designed, the story is terrible, and it just isn't fun to play.
