EA's new first-person magic shooter Immortals of Aveum is now just a few weeks away from launch, and we're starting to see a lot more of the game in action - particularly in the form of this new "Unpacked" trailer.
This video goes fairly in-depth on the gameplay, magic, customisation and story in Immortals of Aveum, and so far we're liking what we're seeing. There's also a new blog on the official EA website that accompanies the trailer with even more information, so it's definitely worth checking that out.
Immortals of Aveum was originally supposed to be launching on July 20th, but was recently pushed back to August 22nd. It's now available to pre-order on the Xbox Store for £69.99 / $69.99, and there's also a 10% discount for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. Just keep in mind that the game is not coming to Xbox One, at least at launch.
"Delve into Immortals of Aveum’s spellbinding first-person combat, master all three colors of magic to suit how you want to play, discover how to customize your spellcasting with 25 unique Spells, over 80 Talents, and hundreds of pieces of magical gear, and dive deeper into the epic, story-driven campaign."

There's something about this game I don't like the look of; like I wouldn't have much fun with it. I can't put my finger on it but I get the same feeling whenever I look at Ghostwire Tokyo.
I don't know why, but I can't see this as a modern game. It weirdly looks like a 360/PS3 game revved up to 1000.
I really hope it's good, but I swear that lady does intros for all the AAA letdowns-i seriously think she's video game doom
