We can add another addition to the Xbox Game Pass in 2023 list, as Railway Empire 2 has set a date of May 25th, 2023 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC! The game will also support Smart Delivery on Xbox.
In Railway Empire 2, you'll "take over a small railway company in the early 1800s and turn your steam engines into the workhorses of the economy". It'll be your job to build the perfect rail network and ultimately outsmart your competitors to become the "largest railway company of the continent".
If you're not interested in the five-chapter campaign, you can also choose to tackle one of 14 different scenarios, or just settle for Free Play Mode and/or Construction Mode. Plus, there's co-op multiplayer!
You'll find more details about Railway Empire 2 below, along with some screenshots.
"Don the coat of a clever entrepreneur, take over a small railway company in the early 1800s and turn your steam engines into the workhorses of the economy. Grow your company into the largest railway company of the continent and outsmart your competitors."

This may scratch that Hornby railway set itch I had as a kid (never got further than having an oval one!).
Do like this simulation and strategy games coming to Game Pass, alongside the variety of indies - it's something for everyone, I became hooked on Powerwash Simulator and House Flipper, plus numerous indies like Beacon Pines, Lake and Last Stop but still love my AAA games too.
It means I can give them a try without the risk, and then the ones I really love I often buy anyway
If you are British then train DNA is part of your identity is it not?
