Following a seemingly successful preview program that kicked off in February, Microsoft's PC Game Pass program is now seeing a massive expansion. The service is now fully available in 40 new countries worldwide, as announced by head of Xbox Phil Spencer.
Access to PC Game Pass in the following nations is rolling out today, April 11th:
• Albania
• Algeria
• Bahrain
• Bolivia
• Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Bulgaria
• Costa Rica
• Croatia
• Cyprus
• Ecuador
• Egypt
• El Salvador
• Estonia
• Georgia
• Guatemala
• Honduras
• Iceland
• Kuwait
• Latvia
• Libya
• Liechtenstein
• Lithuania
• Luxembourg
• Malta
• Moldova
• Montenegro
• Morocco
• Nicaragua
• North Macedonia
• Oman
• Panama
• Paraguay
• Peru
• Qatar
• Romania
• Serbia
• Slovenia
• Tunisia
• Ukraine
• Uruguay
As an extra perk, if you did take part in the preview version of this move earlier in the year, you'll be granted a much welcome bonus as the service transitions out of preview. Those who participated via the Insider Program will be granted two free months of PC Game Pass membership, while new members who skipped the preview will see an introductory offer for the first three months.
This is an absolutely huge list of new countries to expand to in one fell swoop, and it's good to see Xbox continue to grow the PC Game Pass program worldwide. Why not make Game Pass available in as many places as possible!
