I doubt I'll be playing this - not the biggest fan of Minecraft or these type of RTS games in general. I did enjoy Starcraft - playing at Lunchtimes across LAN with work colleagues - but that was over 20yrs ago now.
Just because I could try for free on GP doesn't mean it appeals 'more' than other games I have access to and therefore I doubt I will try it when I could be playing something that appeals to me 'more' - the only thing that will change my mind is if Friends/Family were wanting to play - the fact that I can play with them without having to 'buy' it first - the same with 'most' Multiplayer games these days.
That is one of the great thing about Game Pass - the ability to play games with friends/family without any issues/costs. You don't have to try and find a game you ALL bought or not play certain games because 1 (or more) don't have it. With Game Pass, we all have access to the same games so its never a major issue to find something we can ALL play together.
I do think its a great idea to introduce new 'Game-play' genres to new audiences and Minecraft may well be a great way for many to be introduced to RTS type games and hopefully build up more fans for the genre for the return of Starcraft in the 'near' future LOL
I could not get this game to play at all this morning, it said I was too early
Can't wait to jump on after my shift.
Won’t got past “logging into your account” for me. Another fully tested game from Microsoft.
