Earlier this month, Halo veteran and long-time Xbox developer Joseph Staten revealed that he was leaving Microsoft, and he's not taken long to announce where he's heading. In a new social media post today, the Halo Infinite project lead has revealed his new destination.
Staten is heading over to Netflix to direct something entirely new for the games division over at the streaming giant.
The Halo vet has been around the world of Xbox for some time, first starting out with Bungie in the '90s before working at both Xbox Game Studios generally and of course, 343 Industries when he was drafted in to help Halo Infinite launch.
We're looking forward to seeing what Staten cooks up with the folks over at Netflix, and we wish him well for his new ventures outside of team green. It is a multiplatform game he's working on though, so we should hopefully see this project come to Xbox when it's ready to go!
