Developer Frogwares has announced that its upcoming Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened remake is officially landing on Xbox this April! 2023's 'The Awakened' is a full overhaul of the studio's original 2007 release, and it comes to both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on April 11th.
The team says that the game has now gone gold too, after months of uncertainty for the Ukrainian developer down to the country's ongoing war with neighbouring Russia.
As for the nature of the release itself, this Unreal Engine 4-based remake comes as a budget title on all platforms. Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will cost $39.99 / £39.99 while a deluxe version featuring various chunks of DLC will cost $10 / £10 extra.
Here's a bit more about what to expect from the team's latest detective adventure:
"Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is a Cthulhu meets Sherlock Holmes detective horror adventure. The game acts as a continuation of young Sherlock’s story with Holmes and Watson undertaking their first major case together.
An Eldritch god-obsessed cult is making moves in the shadows to bring about a world-altering prophecy and it’s up to the young detective duo to thwart their plans."

Glad to hear! I will be supporting this title by purchasing day one. It's from a Frogwares studio based in Kiev and suffice to say they ve been going through harsh time.

Hope this kind of games does well sales wise
Interested to give it a try. Shame their games aren't on Game Pass
i was let down by chapter 1 i hope this one is better.
Crime and punishments was one of the first PS4 games I played when I jumped to PS last Gen, and really enjoyed it. I really want to support these guys due to the war, so I just set a digital preorder for this one.
