Upcoming turn-based RPG Sea of Stars has been getting a lot of hype ever since its free demo arrived on Nintendo Switch back in February, but until now, the developer had been reluctant to announce an Xbox version.
Fortunately, that all changes today, as Sea of Stars has been confirmed to be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on August 29th, 2023, meaning it'll launch simultaneously alongside all the other versions.
You can find more information about the game below, along with some screenshots:
"Sea of Stars is a turn-based RPG inspired by the classics. It tells the story of two Children of the Solstice who will combine the powers of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only force capable of fending off the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer."

Sweet. Let's go!
Awesome, will probably end up playing this on Xbox then.
Well done. Buying it.
Wonder what the delay in announcement was. Assumed it was Gamepass but guess that wasmt the case unless it was simply just waiting for xbox to send them a check to do the xbox port
Played the demo on Switch and enjoyed it. Hope they put out a demo on Xbox before launch so people get a chance to check it out.
Finally an official announcement for this game.
Hmmm… was sort of hoping this would be a Gamepass title, given the delay. I suppose that means I can preorder it for the Switch then!
Buying this on Switch but I hope at least one of yall buy it on Xbox lol
This will be a banger. Sabotage cranked out one of the very best action platformers in The Messenger. I have no doubt this will be a day one for me. Just can't decide where to buy it on.
Played the demo on Switch and it's fantastic. Can't wait for this release.
It'll go to Game Pass at some point. I'll play it then.
This game looks really really good, will be waiting for the gamepass release
One of my most anticipated games. They showed with the Messenger how they can take a 20+ year old formula and bring it up to date and they have shows their love for the golden era of JRPGs. I'm expecting great things.
Reading the comments, can sometimes see why we dont always get jrpgs on the scale the others do. plenty buying it elsewhere or hoping it comes to GP. You can see why devs can see Xbox as a last thought type, which is a shame.
