Xbox Free Play Days returns for the weekend! This week's selection is pretty fantastic if we may say so - containing both the recently released Marvel's Midnight Suns and the newly 60FPS boosted Far Cry 5!
As usual, remember that you'll need Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to take advantage of these Free Play Days offerings. All three games will be available to play for free until late on Sunday, March 26th.
Both the 'Enhanced' and the 'Legendary' editions of Marvel's Midnight Suns are 50% off this week, with Bassmaster Fishing also heavily discounted right now on Xbox Live. Far Cry 5 is part of Xbox Game Pass, providing another option to play Ubisoft's open world FPS beyond its free-to-play weekend.
Xbox Free Play Days - How To Download The Games
- Search for the game on the Xbox Store
- Hit the "Install, Included with Gold" or "Free Trial" button
- Play the game!
Will you be trying out any of these games this weekend? Let us know below.

Friendly reminder that a little unknown game called Diablo IV will also be free to play this weekend...
People who haven't tried Midnight Suns yet should give it a go. I'm not a huge card battler or strategy rpg fun but absolutely loved the game. It's part social sim and part strategy rpg. And the battles were surprisingly fun and addicting. One of my biggest surprises of last year
@Bartig They're gonna have to take out microtransactions and add a Paladin before I'll ever be interested in it. 😂
I have really enjoyed Midnight Suns so far. I'm thinking of getting the season pass, which is currently on sale. I read that the first 2 dlc released are quite good.
Nice. Midnight Suns is one I've been interested in trying out. Though I think I'll be busy this weekend. Just my luck.
@InterceptorAlpha not being argumentative here what micro transactions are there? and ya i really want paladin or crusader i really hope they do lots of expansions. I enjoyed D3 for a lot of the quality of life things D2 remastered or whatever was fun but some of the systems are just hassles.
@VisitingComet1 Diablo 4 has both battle passes and a premium cash shop.
Personally the second I beat Diablo 3, back in the day, I immediately went back to two. Even playing the PC version with a cot roller was
a pre enjoyable experience that Diablo 3.
Then they decided to remaster 2 which gives me everything I want, without all the hassle 3 introduced.
@InterceptorAlpha thanks man I didn't know about the cash shop or battle passes. I really enjoy 2 playboy quite a bit but d3 is its own kind of fun the druid is my absolute favorite class so d4 has that going for it.
