As we get closer and closer to Forza Motorsport's proper next-gen arrival this year, all of the nitty gritty details about the game's technical makeup are starting to trickle out. While the game's Xbox showcase appearances so far have focused on the Xbox Series X version, we now know a little more info about how the new Forza will perform on Xbox Series S - thanks to a new support page update.
Developer Turn 10 Studios has confirmed that Forza Motorsport will run at 1080p / 60FPS on Xbox Series S, while the console's big brother Xbox Series X will hit 4K / 60FPS.
The FAQ page contains a bunch of other technical details on the game too; most of which we heard about at Xbox's Summer Showcase last year, as well as this January's Developer Direct event.
The team hasn't specifically confirmed whether Xbox Series S will contain the game's ray tracing features, but given that this is built from the ground up for Microsoft's current-gen systems, we'd expect it to feature. With both ray traced reflections and global illumination present, it sounds like the new Forza is built around ray tracing tech. Bring it on!
