During the pre-show for The Game Awards 2022 on Thursday, we were treated to the announcement of Hellboy Web of Wyrd for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, which is a new roguelike action adventure created in partnership with Dark Horse Comics and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola.
There's no date for this one yet, but you can check out the trailer above and some more details below.
"Featuring monstrous toe-to-toe brawling, you need to chain together hard-hitting melee and ranged attacks to fight a diverse array of increasingly nightmarish enemies."
"Like the comics, the game sends Hellboy on a series of vastly different and wholly unique adventures. While those stories stand on their own, they are all tied to the mysterious legacy of The Butterfly House. When an agent of the B.P.R.D. is sent on a reconnaissance mission to the mansion and promptly goes missing. It’s up to you - Hellboy - and your team of Bureau agents to find your missing colleague and uncover the secrets of The Butterfly House."
Excited for Hellboy Web of Wyrd? Tell us down in the comments.

Is it made by the people that made that game with the cowboy with the head on fire? West of Dead? While I played that I literally said to myself "imagine a Hellboy game in this style". They had the cel shading DOWN.
I could google this in like 30 seconds but guess what? I'm not going to.
@fraserg why no article on Sony outselling xbox in its main market yet again, its important to highlight
@stvevan why is it important to highlight? This isn't eurogamer, or pushsquare it's an Xbox centric website. Should Macworld write articles about how windows is outselling Mac os? This website primarily caters to gaming enthusiasts, specifically Xbox enthusiasts. Microsoft doesn't have to be the market leader to have a viable business. Gamepass continues to outsell PlayStation plus extra/premium, do you need a story for that too?
@Neither_scene because with only highlighting positive things. it doesnt give the full picture.... there was the articles saying how well it did at BF, how its in the running for most sales of the year.
i never mentioned it had to be market leader to be successful. i just believe all relevant good or bad should be given
@stvevan Xbox have managed to outsell PlayStation a few times in America, but Sony reclaiming the throne is hardly news worthy. The gap is smaller than in Europe, but Sony have maintained a sales lead over xbox since both systems launched in North America according to VGChartz. The newsworthy story (on an Xbox centric games site) would be if Microsoft were to overtake total sales of PlayStation 5 in North America, not that Sony are continuing to outsell them and have once again returned to their position of monthly sales lead.
No one here is surprised by Sony's dominance, they've been doing this since PS4. Sony have sold about 24 million ps5's to xbox's 17 million units worldwide to date. Sony have sold about 40% more ps5's than Microsoft's series X/S.
So anyways... Hellboy! Awesome! Looking forward to more information but the styling is great.
